The bubble plate in conjunction with custom diffusers are designed to effectively mix air and water.Most importantly, random twirling and turbulent flow are eliminated. A stable laminar flow is created inside the skimmer's reaction chamber and maximizes the effectiveness of the skimmer like no other design. The aquamaxx cone skimmers are equipped with high quality sicce pumps from Italian brand. Each sicce pump motor block is then modified and equipped with exclusive aquamaxx needle wheels.
With precise modifications and upgrades, performance is boosted well beyond that of an original pump. The improved aquamaxx'shark' pump is able to attract much more air and chop them up to the optimal bubble size for protein extraction.

The hybrid cone design maximizes the size of the reaction chamber and allows the skimmer to rise smoothly in the collection cup.
